Awards and Promotional Opportunities for CSC Members with CSA Designations

CSC member Real Estate Agents who have received their CSA designation will have opportunities to earn CSC Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards by offering CSC services to homeowners and homebuyers and sponsoring organizations that are committed to green workforce development and ending homelessness. Our model includes promotional opportunities for CSC member agents that are based on the sustainability services they provide and their sponsorship of nonprofits committed to equity, green workforce development, and ending homelessness. Complimentary Marketing and Promotional opportunities through CSC are available to individual agents who qualify for awards. Promotional and Marketing opportunities ARE BASED SOLELY ON SUSTAINABILITY SERVICES AND SPONSORSHIP DONATIONS AND ARE NOT at all based on Sales Productivity. THE HOMEOWNER OR RENTER DOES NOT NEED TO PURCHASE OR SELL A HOME FOR THE CSC MEMBER AGENT TO GET CREDIT TOWARD HIS OR HER BRONZE, SILVER, OR GOLD AWARDS!

Bronze Star Award

Requirements for this award.

  • During a calendar year, Real Estate Agents must sign up either 5 homeowners or renters for “Cleanouts with a Conscience” services through our exclusive partner The Junkluggers. Homeowners or renters contract directly with The Junkluggers for cleanout services and a minimum service charge or $250 is required. In addition, CSC Agents must sign up 2 low income ratepayers (homeowners, new homebuyers or renters) to contract for a Home Energy Audit to be performed by a Qualified Energy Conservation Company. IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE HOMEOWNER, HOMEBUYER, OR RENTER TO PURCHASE OR SELL A HOME FOR THE AGENT TO GET CREDIT TOWARD HIS OR HER BRONZE, SILVER OR GOLD AWARDS.
  • After completing the 5 signup requirements, an additional requirement for this award is for the CSC Real Estate Agent to make a donation of $500 to a CSC which will go to The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to a donor advised fund set up in memory of Betty McCoy. The funds will be divided equally and distributed to the partners CSC sponsors, Efficiency for All (EFA) for the Green Workforce Training Program in Energy Efficiency they have developed AND The CT Coalition to End Homelessness.
  • CSC member Real Estate Agents who have received this award will be promoted on CSC’s website (www.creatingsustainablecommunities.org) with showcase advertising for one year following receipt of the award.

Silver Star Award

Requirements for this award . Completion of the requirements for this award must succeed the Bronze award in the same calendar year.

  • During the same calendar Agents must sign up 5 more homeowners, renters to receive “Cleanouts with a Conscience” and sign up 2 additional low income ratepayers (homeowners, homebuyers or renters) to receive Home Energy Audits.
  • CSC member agents or their Brokers must also make an additional $500 contribution to CSC during the same calendar year to fund the Betty McCoy Memorial Foundation to be distributed equally to EFA and the CT Coalition to End Homelessness.
  • Recipients of the Silver Star Award will be promoted with showcase advertising on our website (creatingsustainablecommunities.org) and receive individual CSC weekly marketing on Instagram and Linked-in for the period of one year following receipt of the award.

Gold Star Award

Requirements for this award must succeed the Silver Star Award in the same calendar year.

  • During the same calendar year, Agents must sign up 5 more homeowners or renters to receive “Cleanouts with a Conscience” Services and two more low income ratepayers ( homeowners, homebuyers or renters) to receive Home Energy Audits.

    • CSA member agents or their Brokers must make another $500 donation during the same calendar year to the Betty McCoy Memorial Fund to be distributed equally to EFA and the CT Coalition to End Homelessness.

  • Recipients of the Gold Star Award will be promoted with showcase advertising on our web site (creatingsustainablecommunities.org) that also includes rotational side bar showcasing on all pages of our website. CSC Gold star recipients will also receive individual CSC weekly marketing on Instagram and Linked-in for the period of one year following receipt of the award.

Summary

To receive the Gold Award, CSC Real Estate Agents must complete the following requirements in a Calendar Year:

  • Minimum of 15 sign ups for Cleanouts with a Conscience ($250 minimum service charge per cleanout)
  • Minimum of 6 sign ups for Home Energy Audits for low income ratepayers
  • Minimum of $1500 in contributions to the Betty McCoy Memorial Foundation
  • ANNUAL CSC AWARDS CEREMONIES WILL RECOGNIZE REAL ESTATE AGENTS FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO CREATING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES. SPECIAL SUSTAINABILITY STEWARDSHIP AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE AGENTS WHO SIGN UP THE MOST CONSUMERS FOR “CLEANOUTS WITH A CONSCIENCE” SERVICES AND HOME ENERGY AUDITS!
